Insurance

In a highly competitive environment, insurers need to accelerate their digital transformation strategy and reinvent the customer experience.

The management of document processes and customer communications plays a key role in this strategy. It represents a privileged point of contact in the customer journey, and an important moment of truth in the relationship with the insured: quotation, contractualization, attestation and online declaration become the hallmarks of an innovative and differentiating service.

The Business Document Unity platform accelerates the implementation of your digital document management and helps you reinvent your customer relations.

Innovative, personalized customer relations

With Business Document Unity, and its CCM & ECMEDM tools, your customer relationship management can adapt to new competitive challenges:

  • guarantee responsive and efficient two-way digital exchanges between policyholders and their contacts
  • and communicate clearly and attractively about your “plus” services (home guard in the event of a claim, vehicle loan, etc.).

You can respond quickly and reactively to requests for quotes, and seamlessly manage the distribution of personalized offers online

The perfect solution for claims document management

Integrated into your business applications, the Business Document Unity platform enables your account managers to efficiently receive and check documents sent by policyholders, to rapidly prepare claims declaration and handling documents, and, if necessary, to interactively update them to take account of each specific context.

All elements of a claim (declaration, additional documents, confirmation of acceptance, etc.) can be exchanged instantaneously between policyholders, the claims manager and third parties, by e-mail or via the customer portal.

The administrator can also complete the documents in the field, using a touch-sensitive tablet for example, to enter additional information or add photos taken on site, before submitting them to the system for validation.

Last but not least, connection to an electronic signature system adds the legal value required for 100% digital claims settlement to the process.

Master the impact of regulatory obligations

European RGPD regulations on respect for private data and regulatory obligations in the insurance world (Hamon law on insurance termination, Eckert law on escheated life insurance contracts, European Solvency II directive, etc.)

can be costly, and impact responsiveness in policyholder relations. With the Business Document platform, the processing and checking of supporting documents is automated, and contractual documents are updated centrally within a single repository. Fraud and error risks are controlled across all document management processes, regardless of the volumes and number of channels addressed.
You optimize management costs and timescales, in line with regulatory constraints.

Design your future strategy with digital communication in mind

The world of insurance is undergoing profound transformations in its relationship with policyholders, leading to fundamental reflections on business models and commercial offerings.

Connected objects are paving the way for new models: “Pay how you drive”, real-time monitoring of locations or personal health, while the first experiments in “decentralized contracts” based on the “Smart Contracts” of blockchain technologies are being rolled out.

In this context, the digital customer dialogue (link to SmartBdoc hidden page) conveys strategic information that needs to be captured and controlled from end to end.
